Can. Ch. Grace Ridge Precious Emerald CGC
(Five American points)

June 3rd, 2002 ~ May 15th 2013
Emi was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She was mother of one side of our line,
mother of Paige and Shayna,
who both gave us beautiful puppies.
Paige went on to give us Ruthie
who went on to give us Lucy
who is in our future plans.
This is how the generations play out in breeding dogs. We are blessed to be able to look back at health and temperment and conformation of the family which helps us look ahead.

Our beautiful Emi came to us from Graceridge Goldens, owned by Linda and Barry Love.(www.graceridgegoldens.com) in North Carolina.  Their last name matches the character of these two loves. We are so grateful that we have come to know Linda and Barry and that they entrusted us with Emi.

Emi has so many lovely qualities, great conformation, smooth, floating side gait, beautiful velvet-like wash and wear coat, jet black pigment and a happy outgoing temperament with intense focus.  She comes from lines known to produce excellent temperament, health, movement and versatility. Emi is so healthy, not only passing all of her clearances with flying colors (Excellent hips), but has never had a hot spot or an ear infection. Both parents were bred by Melissa and Steve Johnston at Clarkcreek Kennels www.clarkcreek.com. We see that the puppies that Emi produces are healthy, very good looking and they are blessed with her focus and willingness to please. She will do anything for food and loves the retrieve! She verbalizes her joy when carrying around a nice toy in her mouth, just like her Dad, Costello.

In the fall of 2004 Emi gave us a sweet litter of five pups sired by "Banjo" Ch. Chuckanuts Brasstime JH NA WC VCX OS SDHF. We have a beautiful puppy from that litter named Paige.

In the summer of 2006, Emi produced eleven when bred to Chant, BISS CH Crescent O-Ee-Yah! Eoh-Ah TDI.

In the Summer of 2007, Emi gave birth to 6 more of Chant's pups, all blonds this time and are reportedly doing well in their new homes.

Emi enjoyed some obedience training during the winter of 2004-2005 and flawlessly passed her Canine Good Citizen test.
